SentinelOne, Inc. is seeking a Staff Back-End Engineer to build robust backend infrastructure for an AI security product. You’ll design scalable server-side apps, APIs, and data storage, while enforcing security policies and ensuring compliant AI deployment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of backend development experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Extensive experience designing and implementing microservices.
• Experience developing and integrating APIs, including RESTful designs; GraphQL knowledge a plus.
• Proven ability to scale systems, optimize performance, and implement caching and messaging queues.
• Strong database management and data protection experience.
• Hands-on security and authentication/authorization expertise.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

• As a Staff Back-End Engineer, you will be tasked with building backend infrastructure for our AI security product, focused on monitoring AI assets, assessing risks, and delivering actionable insights
• You will work in a fast-paced, innovative environment that requires agility, adaptability, and continuous iteration. Your work will also include enforcing security policies and ensuring safe, compliant AI deployment while contributing to the future of cybersecurity

• Experience designing and implementing microservices
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Experience developing and integrating APIs, including designing and building RESTful APIs; familiarity with GraphQL is a plus
• Experience with scalability and performance optimization, including caching strategies, message queues, and large-scale, distributed architectures
