Job summary

SentinelOne is seeking a Staff Back-End Engineer to build backend infrastructure for our AI security product, focusing on monitoring AI assets, assessing risks, and delivering actionable insights. You will work in a fast-paced, innovative environment that requires agility and continuous iteration.

Primary responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining scalable server-side applications and APIs, implementing secure data storage, and collaborating with frontend teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of backend development experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Experience with designing and building RESTful APIs; GraphQL is a plus.
• Experience designing and implementing microservices and distributed architectures.
• Experience with scalability, performance optimization, caching, messaging queues.
• Experience implementing authentication, authorization, and data protection.

• Implement and optimize database schemas, queries, and data storage solutions.

What Will You Do?

Primary responsibilities include:

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable server-side applications and APIs.

- Implement and optimize database schemas, queries, and data storage solutions.

- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

What Skills and Knowledge Will You Bring?

Ideal candidates will have:

- 8+ years of backend development experience in Node.js and TypeScript.

- Experience with database management.

- Experience developing and integrating APIs, including designing and building RESTful APIs; familiarity with GraphQL is a plus.

- Experience designing and implementing microservices.

- Experience with scalability and performance optimization, including caching strategies, message queues, and large-scale, distributed architectures.

- Experience implementing authentication, authorization, and data protection mechanisms.

Base Salary Range$156,000-$215,000 USD
