Qualifications

• 8+ years of backend engineering experience in production-grade distributed systems.
• Direct FCM or derivatives experience preferred, with ownership of one or more lifecycle components.
• Proficiency in a modern backend language (Go preferred; Java or similar) and scalable architectures.
• Experience in regulated financial environments emphasizing correctness, auditability, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Own design and architecture across the FCM core, from market data to settlement and risk.
• Drive the next‑gen replatforming and reduce legacy dependencies while improving stability.
• Set the technical bar through reviews, design standards, and lowering critical technical debt.
• Collaborate across pods and cross‑functionally with Product, Risk, Ops, Finance, and Compliance to deliver auditable systems.
• Mentor engineers and elevate code quality and architectural rigor.
