Job summary

You’ll lead by example through code and design reviews, mentor senior engineers, and drive architecture decisions across Go, Rust, Java, or C++. This fully remote role offers strong equity, competitive benefits, and the autonomy to shape the product’s future.

Qualifications

• 10+ years backend engineering with 3+ years at Staff level
• Proven ownership of production systems end-to-end
• Experience with multi-tenant SaaS and high-load systems
• Production-grade AI tooling experience
• Proficient in Go or readiness to ramp

Responsibilities

• Design and ship core platform components: policy engine, signing orchestration, key lifecycle workflows
• Lead cross-cutting initiatives through RFCs, design reviews, and code
• Build high-load, multi-tenant SaaS systems with scalable latency
• Ensure security-by-design and SOC 2/ISO 27001/DORA readiness
• Mentor senior engineers through reviews and designs
