Job summary

Pure is seeking one of the first Product Engineers to own parts of our Vault Platform, from vault accounts to operations systems that receive, verify, store, and ship high-value assets.

You’ll decide what to build, collaborate with operations, customer support, compliance, and partners, and take end-to-end ownership of delivery across the stack.

You’ll work with TypeScript, React, and Next.js to deliver reliable, auditable systems that scale with the business.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience building software products, ideally at a startup.
• Ability to own a product area end-to-end.
• Strong experience with TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
• Backend APIs and services built with Node.js and PostgreSQL.
• Design systems that keep records accurate and traceable.
• Clear communication with engineers, operations, support, and partners.
• Responsible for reliability, maintenance, and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of products from idea through launch and improvements.
• Build customer-facing vault tools with TS, React, Next.js.
• Design and maintain backend systems for assets.
• Keep asset ownership records and custody history accurate.
• Collaborate with warehouse and logistics to improve fulfillment.
• Build and maintain APIs, webhooks, and integrations.
• Identify gaps with Support/Operations and drive improvements.
• Work with Compliance to implement identity verification and custody controls.
• Use feedback and data to set priorities and measure impact.
• Make stack-level decisions and ensure reliability.
