Job summary

AlphaGov is seeking Staff Auditors to execute high-volume indirect cost rate reviews and support audits under a multi-year public-sector work-order vehicle, with travel to Springfield, IL and statewide client facilities. Remote-first engagements and proposal involvement are part of the role.

The position requires a degree with 27 accounting hours and direct experience in indirect-cost or overhead audits, plus CPA or related credentials are a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree with 27 accounting hours; transcripts or diplomas required.
• Indirect-cost/overhead/compliance-audit experience required.
• Willingness to travel to Springfield, IL and statewide client facilities.

Responsibilities

• Execute indirect cost rate and overhead desk reviews.
• Support GAGAS-compliant audits and produce complete workpapers.
• Apply FAR Part 31 / AASHTO Audit Guide concepts to overhead reviews.
• Coordinate with lead auditor and client compliance staff on findings and documentation.
• Contribute auditor qualifications and past-performance narrative to AlphaGov proposals when permissioned.
