Job summary

AlphaGov is seeking Staff Auditors to perform high-volume indirect cost rate reviews and support audits under a multi-year public-sector work order. The role involves desk reviews, overhead audits of consulting firms, and contract cost audits, with remote-first engagements and travel to Springfield, IL as needed.

You will execute desk reviews, apply FAR Part 31/AASHTO concepts, and coordinate with the lead auditor and client compliance staff.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting with at least 27 accounting hours.
• Experience in indirect-cost, overhead, or related compliance-audit work.
• Willingness to travel regionally to Springfield, IL and statewide sites.

Responsibilities

• Execute indirect cost rate reviews and overhead desk reviews.
• Support audits with complete review workpapers.
• Apply FAR Part 31 / AASHTO concepts to overhead reviews.
• Coordinate findings with lead auditor and client staff.
• Contribute qualification and performance narratives to proposals when allowed.
