Job summary

BFJ is seeking an Audit Manager in Saint Paul, MN to lead audit, review, and assurance engagements from planning through completion. You will coach teams, manage client relationships, and proactively identify risks and value-add insights while ensuring compliance with professional standards.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of public accounting audit experience, CPA license, and proven leadership in supervising staff.

Qualifications

Strong understanding of GAAP and auditing standards.
Experience planning and executing audits across multiple industries with appropriate risk assessment.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

Lead engagement planning, staffing, budgeting, and scheduling; ensure scope alignment and timely execution.
Supervise and review audit fieldwork, workpapers, and deliverables; ensure adherence to standards.
Manage client relationships and communication; lead status meetings and coordinate information requests.
Coach and develop engagement teams; provide real-time feedback and facilitate training.
Contribute to firm initiatives and knowledge sharing as assigned.
