Lally & Co., LLC is a growing, progressive accounting and business advisory firm based in the North Hills of Pittsburgh, serving privately held businesses and affluent families nationwide. We are seeking entry level staff auditors to perform detailed financial statement audits under supervision.

The role offers a balance between in-office and remote work, modest travel, and opportunities for career growth with a strong emphasis on preparing for the CPA exam.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and CPA exam eligibility.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel to clients and work beyond standard hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ability to work in a team environment and contribute to engagement teams.
• Strong work ethic and ability to interact with peers, clients, and firm management.
• Develop understanding of the firm’s policies and procedures including learning and developing a working knowledge of firm software.
• Follow supervisor instructions and apply feedback on future engagements.
• Understand past procedures performed on engagements and suggest ways to improve procedures.
• Develop understanding of professional standards, GAAP, and GAAS.
• Travel to clients based on assignments.
• Active progress toward CPA exam.
