Audit Senior / Supervisor

An established Pittsburgh-area public accounting firm is seeking an experienced Audit Senior / Supervisor to join its growing team. This opportunity is ideal for an audit professional who wants to continue advancing their career while working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment with a sustainable approach to busy season.

The firm serves clients across a variety of industries and offers professionals the opportunity to manage engagements, develop client relationships, mentor team members, and continue expanding their technical and leadership skills.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, execute, and complete audit and assurance engagements from beginning to end
  • Perform and review audit procedures, workpapers, and financial statements
  • Identify audit issues, evaluate findings, and communicate recommendations to clients
  • Work directly with clients throughout engagements and develop strong professional relationships
  • Supervise, mentor, and provide guidance to junior audit professionals
  • Assist with engagement scheduling, workflow, and deadline management
  • Collaborate with managers and partners on complex accounting and audit matters
  • Maintain knowledge of applicable accounting and auditing standards
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and team-focused work environment
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of public accounting audit experience
  • CPA or actively pursuing CPA licensure
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Experience leading or serving as an in-charge on audit engagements
  • Strong understanding of accounting and auditing standards
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple engagements and deadlines
  • Experience mentoring or providing guidance to junior professionals preferred
