The role offers a balance between in-office and remote work, modest travel, and opportunities for career growth with a strong emphasis on preparing for the CPA exam.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and CPA exam eligibility.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel to clients and work beyond standard hours as needed.

We are currently seeking entry level staff auditors to join our firm.A Staff Auditor performs the detailed work of a financial statement audit under the supervision of supervisor or manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate an ability to work in a team environment and contribute to engagement teams.
• Strong work ethic and ability to interact with peers, clients, and firm management.
• Develop and understanding of the firm’s policies and procedures including learning and developing a working knowledge of firm software.
• Demonstrate an ability to follow supervisor instructions and apply feedback on future engagements.
• Understand past procedures performed on engagements and suggest ways to improve procedures due to client changes or opportunities for efficiencies.
• Develop an understanding of professional standards, GAAP, and GAAS.
• Ability to travel to clients based on assignments.
• Actively working towards passing the CPA exam

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or other with sufficient coursework to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to job requirements with meeting deadlines including some travel and hours after business hours as needed.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
