Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary in Kaneohe, Hawaii, is seeking a Staff Associate to assist funeral directors with on-site events, help prepare memorial spaces, and support families with compassionate, professional service.

You will help maintain the facility’s appearance, coordinate with families and vendors, answer inquiries, and ensure respectful handling of flowers and memorabilia. We offer comprehensive benefits and grow within a trusted organization.

Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary is looking for a Staff Associate to join our team in Kaneohe, Hawaii where we offer a passionate and purpose-filled work environment. Our Staff Associates are responsible for assisting funeral directors with events, helping to maintain the facility appearance, and providing information in a compassionate and professional manner to our client families. Your work is the foundation of our ability to supply a source of support, guidance, and direction to client families before, during, and after the loss of a loved one. We provide our staff with strong local, regional, and home-office support so that they focus on what matters: serving our client families.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with funeral directors with events held on-site, including services and arrangement conferences
• Establish and maintain strong business relationships with families and vendors
• Always maintain reverence and respect for the deceased
• Assist in preparing the memorial area for the family before the services start
• Maintain the appearance of the facilities
• Ensure that flowers and other memorabilia are returned to the family after services
• Answer customer inquiries professionally, either by phone or in person

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in customer service preferred

Compensation: $18 - $23/hr.
