Tufts University’s Office of Educational Affairs (OEA) seeks a Staff Assistant to support the Thompson Clinical Skills and Simulation Center (CSSC) and the MD educational program. You will provide administrative support, coordinate meetings, generate and edit reports, and help organize educational sessions.
You will be the primary contact for students, faculty, staff, and visitors, handle inquiries, assist with exam proctoring, manage schedules and datasets, and help improve office operations.
The Office of Educational Affairs (OEA) facilitates and coordinates the MD educational program, including all aspects of curricular development and implementation as well as evaluation and assessment. The OEA also develops and manages medical education research, faculty development, and all programming across educational programs within the clinical skills center including simulation, standardized patient programming, and objective structured clinical evaluations. Clinical education occurs in every year of the medical education program; those occurring in the pre-clerkship phase of the curriculum are considered Clinical Programs within the OEA.
The Staff Assistant performs diverse duties to meet the programmatic goals of the OEA and serves as a source of information and problem-solving for students, faculty, staff, and other constituents. The Staff Assistant will provide administrative support, including coordinating meetings and generating and editing reports, organizing and creating student group assignments for educational programs, managing spreadsheets for logistical aspects of educational sessions, and communicating with students and faculty regarding educational programming.
Minimum $23.00, Midpoint $27.35, Maximum $31.70. Salary is based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity; generally, new hires can expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range.
