Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Engineer to lead architecture, development, and scaling of core applications. You will bridge backend data systems, AI capabilities, and frontend experiences to deliver intelligent, user-centric solutions.

You will design dashboards, build microservices, and drive DevOps practices with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and IaC while mentoring teams and shaping the technical roadmap for Payer operations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with focus on full-stack development, system architecture, and scalable applications.

Responsibilities

• Architecture & Full Stack Development: lead end-to-end design and development of scalable web apps.
• Dashboarding & Data Visualization: design rich dashboards surface data insights intuitively.
• Backend & Data Integrations: build secure APIs and integrate diverse data sources.
• AI Enablement & Implementation: embed AI/ML features to automate workflows and insights.
• DevOps & Cloud Infrastructure: drive CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes, and IaC practices.
• Operational Excellence: establish monitoring, logging, and performance profiling standards.
• Technical Leadership & Mentoring: guide frontend, backend, and DevOps teams and shape roadmap.
• Self Starter: navigate ambiguity and clarify requirements with stakeholders.
