Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced HVAC engineer to support the sale of Chiller products within JCI HVAC System Branches and export markets. You will provide pre-sale technical support, generate special quotations, and assist order execution for data center cooling solutions.

Daily collaboration with field sales, design engineers and product management will ensure customer requirements are clearly understood.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 10+ years of HVAC or related chiller technology experience.
• Knowledge of refrigeration systems and equipment.
• Travel up to 15% for factory/site visits and training.

Responsibilities

• Support sale of Chiller products and provide pre-sale technical support.

• Interact daily with field sales to guide application and installation.

Job description

Support the sale of Chiller products through the JCI HVAC System Branches as well as JCI sales/marketing personnel in export markets.
Provide pre-sale technical support, answering system level product application inquiries, generating special quotations, and supporting order execution.
Daily interaction with field sales personnel providing guidance on the application and installation of assigned Chiller Solutions equipment in HVAC systems.
Design and customize chiller systems tailored to data center environments, ensuring optimal cooling efficiency and energy utilization.
Effectively communicate and follow up with sales personnel, design engineers and product management teams to ensure customer requirements are clearly understood.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• 10+ years of experience preferably in the HVAC industry or a related Chiller Technology field
• Knowledge of the principles of refrigeration systems and associated equipment
• Up to 15% travel is needed for factory visits, customer site visits and field visits related to training.
