Jobtailor seeks an experienced HVAC chiller technician to service and repair large chiller equipment at hospitals, arenas, casinos, and other sites. You will diagnose issues, read blueprints, and ensure safety and customer satisfaction on-site.
Requires EPA Universal Certification, 10+ years of HVAC experience, and a valid driver’s license. The role includes mentoring teammates and handling on-site installations with a strong customer focus.
Chiller repair and troubleshooting experience are essential for this role.
Responsible for servicing and assembling Chiller equipment, ranging from 50 Tons and up.
Work is mostly performed onsite at hospitals, arenas, casinos, shopping malls as well as occasional assigned projects, and jobsites.
Represents the company by serving as the direct customer contact and is responsible for servicing chiller products and chiller equipment on assigned projects, ensuring customer satisfaction by identifying, examining, diagnosing and repairing chiller equipment and systems at customer’s location.
Coordinates with team leader/project manager and customer to precisely understand requirements for all on-site installation and repairs by forecasting issues, gathering materials and synchronizing on-site work.
Uses cutting edge software and technology, along with a variety of hand-tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units.
Continually enforces safety to the highest standards and maintains security and accountability of company issued and procured assets by recording use, wear and conditions.
Mentor team members.
Display team effort and dedication to customer by maintaining flexibility to work overtime and weeks as the business requires, including occasional overnight stays.
Demonstrates extensive experience in Chiller Repair and Troubleshooting, ensuring customer satisfaction through effective diagnosis and repair of HVAC systems. Proficient in coordinating on-site installations and repairs while adhering to safety standards and mentoring team members.
