Job summary

Unity in Mountain View, CA is seeking an experienced engineering leader to own the shared API and SDK layer for our AI asset platform. You will work across orchestration and partner integration layers behind it, empowering developers to create and integrate assets through natural language and APIs.

You will shape tooling and guardrails, drive scalable API design, and collaborate with product, design, and engineering to align features with platform health and performance.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience building production web APIs with C# / .NET.
• TypeScript experience is a plus for frontend interactions and tooling.
• Track record designing and evolving APIs/SDKs consumed by multiple teams or external developers.

Responsibilities

• Own APIs and SDKs powering AI asset creation experiences across design, delivery, and support lifecycles.
• Ensure backend services are secure, reliable, observable, and resilient with IaC practices.
• Develop and maintain integrations with partners to improve asset workflows.
• Set patterns for AI-assisted development and guardrails to maintain code quality at higher velocity.
• Support CI, release, and incident management to drive platform health at scale.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering to balance features vs health of the platform.
