You will partner with product and design, own projects from discovery to delivery, mentor engineers, and contribute to roadmap investments for new picking models and platform evolution.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience focused on Android applications.
• Proficient in Kotlin and modern Android development practices (Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, RxJava).
• Experience leading cross-functional projects from design to production.
• Strong expertise in maintainable Android architecture and performance improvements.
• Effective collaboration with product/design teams and external stakeholders.

For our client, we are seeking a Staff Android Engineer, Pick & Deliver to join the team of a leader in the Consumer Technology space.

This role will shape the technical direction for Android experiences that support retailers and shoppers across a fast-moving consumer technology environment. You will lead the design, build, and delivery of high-quality mobile solutions while balancing immediate operational needs with long-term platform evolution. The position calls for close partnership with product, design, and other cross-functional stakeholders to solve complex customer and business problems. You will also contribute technical leadership through architecture improvements, design discussions, and mentorship.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $229,000 – $241,500 annually
