Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Senior (or Lead) Android Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Senior Android Engineer, you will be part of the Mobile Development Department supporting the Application Development Team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, creativity, and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Atlanta, Georgia (hybrid) - open to Phoenix as well

Pay Range: Depending on experience. Job type: Long-term contract

What's the Job?

• Develop and maintain high-quality Android applications used by millions of users worldwide
• Collaborate with designers, product owners, QA, and fellow engineers to enhance app features and performance
• Implement modern Android development practices using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and MVI Architecture
• Integrate with REST APIs and other backend services to ensure seamless data flow
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure app stability and quality

What's Needed?

• Proven experience in developing Android applications with strong coding skills in Kotlin
• Experience with build tools such as Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines including GitHub Actions and Circle CI
• Familiarity with asynchronous programming using Coroutines, Flow, and RxJava
• Knowledge of REST API integration, OkHttp, and API documentation using RAML
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and thrive in a collaborative environment
