Job summary

XOXO AI is hiring an experienced Android engineer to lead the mobile app development, owning architecture, performance, and a visually polished design system. You will ship the first versions of our consumer app and drive a fast, high-quality mobile experience.

You’ll translate a vivid visual design system into reusable components, prioritize performance, and push AI/ML features into the mobile product while maintaining rigorous release discipline.

Qualifications

• 3+ years shipping production mobile apps with elite quality.
• Deep expertise in React Native and Swift with strong maintainability sense.
• Turn visual design systems into fast, pixel-perfect UI.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship the first versions of our React Native app from prototype to production.
• Translate visual design system into reusable components, motion, and interaction patterns with fluid performance.
• Build product surfaces that incorporate AI/ML capabilities in mobile.
• Drive performance across rendering, startup, memory, battery, networking, and perceived speed.
• Set quality bar for mobile engineering and collaborate across the stack to ship end-to-end.
