XOXO AI in San Francisco is seeking a seasoned iOS engineer to own the mobile surface end-to-end, from architecture to a highly visual, performant UI. You will craft a fast, polished consumer app and build a scalable design system that feels intentional in every interaction.

You will translate visual designs into reusable components, optimize startup time, memory, and battery use, and incorporate AI/ML features to enhance mobile product experiences.

Qualifications

• 3+ years shipping production mobile apps with elite quality
• Deep expertise in React Native and Swift, strong architecture instincts
• Ability to translate visual design system into fast, pixel-perfect UI
• Proven track record making mobile apps feel instant under real-world constraints
• High-ownership builder who moves fast without sacrificing quality
• Willingness to work in-office in San Francisco 5 days a week

Responsibilities

• Design and ship the first versions of our React Native app, from prototype to production
• Translate a highly visual design system into reusable components, motion, and interaction patterns with fluid performance
• Build new product surfaces with modern AI/ML capabilities for mobile
• Drive performance across rendering, startup, memory, battery, networking, and perceived speed
• Set the bar for mobile engineering quality and partner across the stack to ship end-to-end
