Job summary

XOXO AI in San Francisco, CA, is seeking a seasoned Android engineer to own the mobile surface end-to-end. You will design and ship the React Native app, turning a bold visual design system into fast, pixel-perfect components, with AI/ML-enabled features and performance optimization.

You’ll work on-site in SF, requiring high ownership, fast iteration, and a commitment to craft and performance across the stack.

Qualifications

• 3+ years shipping production mobile apps with elite quality.
• Deep expertise in React Native and Swift.
• Ability to translate a visual design system into reusable components.
• Experience optimizing startup performance (rendering, memory, battery, networking).
• Willingness to work in-office in San Francisco 5 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship the first versions of our React Native app from prototype to production.
• Translate a visual design system into components, motion, and interaction patterns.
• Build product surfaces with AI/ML capabilities for mobile.
• Drive performance work across the app (rendering, startup, memory, battery, network).
• Set engineering quality standards and ship end-to-end with cross‑stack collaboration.
