Job summary

XOXO AI Inc. is seeking a seasoned iOS engineer to own the full mobile surface end-to-end, from architecture to polish, for our consumer app. This role demands high-ownership, fast delivery, and a visually refined mobile experience that leverages AI/ML capabilities.

You will ship the first versions of our React Native app, translate visual design into reusable components, and drive performance across rendering, startup, and energy use. This is an on-site role in San Francisco.

Qualifications

• 3+ years shipping production mobile apps with elite quality.
• Deep expertise in React Native and Swift, with architecture mindset.
• Ability to turn a highly visual design system into a fast, pixel-perfect UI.
• Proven track record optimizing startup performance, rendering, memory, and battery usage.
• High-ownership builder who moves fast without sacrificing quality.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship the first versions of our React Native app, taking it from prototype to production.
• Translate a highly visual design system into reusable components, motion, and interaction patterns with fluid performance.
• Build new product surfaces that incorporate modern AI/ML capabilities in ways that feel natural on mobile.
• Drive performance work across the app: rendering, startup, memory, battery, networking, and perceived speed.
• Set the bar for mobile engineering quality (testing, instrumentation, release discipline) and partner closely across the stack to ship end-to-end.
