Job summary

Polymarket is seeking a Staff Android Engineer to shape the Android platform for a high‑scale trading app used by millions. You’ll set architectural direction, raise the bar across the codebase, and drive decisions that influence the product at scale.

You will own CI/CD pipelines, Gradle configuration, and build performance, implement rich UI with Jetpack Compose, and lead a distributed team while incorporating AI tools to boost velocity and output.

Qualifications

• Extensive Android engineering experience with scale.
• Expert Kotlin and Jetpack Compose skills.
• Experience owning CI/CD pipelines and Gradle builds.
• Proven technical leadership across distributed teams.
• Familiarity with real-time data patterns (WebSockets, gRPC) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set the technical direction for Android at Polymarket and own architecture.
• Build and own Android features spanning payments, real-time data, and core UI.
• Deliver polished, performant interfaces with Jetpack Compose.
• Own CI/CD pipelines and Gradle configuration for fast releases.
• Lead across a distributed team and promote strong engineering standards.
