Job summary

YUM! is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to own Android platform delivery, including architecture, code quality, and mentoring across teams. The role focuses on consumer and enterprise applications for restaurant brands, with a Kotlin-based Android stack and Jetpack Compose.

You will guide technical direction, drive MVVM patterns, and champion AI-assisted development while ensuring reliability and performance across tens of thousands of restaurants globally.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Computer Science or related STEM field.
• 8+ years hands-on experience building robust mobile software on Android.
• Experience architecting and building libraries, SDKs and tools for internal/external consumption.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture and implementation of Android apps for consumer and enterprise use.
• Mentor engineers and set patterns for AI tooling in development practices.
• Collaborate with product, QA, operations and brand teams to deliver reliable features.
