As the industry’s leading expert in embedded processing with unmatched quality and system-level know-how, we have evolved to provide scalable and comprehensive semiconductor solutions for automotive, industrial, infrastructure, and IoT industries based on the broadest product portfolio, including High Performance Computing, Embedded Processing, Analog & Connectivity, and Power.

We are seeking a Staff Analog Design Engineer to drive the design of complex Power Management ICs (PMICs). In this role, you will provide critical technical leadership, mentor team members on analog design best practices, champion process improvements, and serve as a key technical representative for our external customers.

Responsibilities
  • Interpret product requirements and translate them into system architectures and design strategies for power management products.
  • Provide technical leadership for major circuit blocks, guiding designs from concept through production release.
  • Lead the design, simulation, verification, and layout supervision of CMOS power management circuits, ensuring performance, area, power, and schedule requirements are met.
  • Own complex circuit block development, including feasibility assessment, task delegation, and design reviews.
  • Plan and lead laboratory evaluation activities in collaboration with Applications Engineering.
  • Develop high-quality technical documentation for assigned circuits and intellectual property.
  • Drive improvements in circuit design techniques, methodologies, and power management capabilities.
  • Support Design-for-Test strategy, top-level verification, test development, and production ramp activities.
  • Coach and mentor less experienced engineers while proactively developing technical and professional capabilities.
  • Support customer-facing technical discussions and RFQ activities as part of the project team.
  • Perform other related duties as reasonably assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • Typically 8–12 years of relevant experience in analog or mixed‑signal integrated circuit design.
  • Advanced technical knowledge and experience working on complex semiconductor design projects.
  • Ability to select appropriate design methods, tools, techniques, and evaluation criteria to achieve project objectives.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to develop innovative, practical, and commercially effective solutions.
  • Experience leading or coordinating significant technical projects and design activities.
  • Ability to provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced engineers.
  • Results‑oriented, with the ability to deliver high‑quality work under demanding schedules.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within cross‑functional and geographically distributed teams.
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation, and customer‑facing communication skills.
  • Cross‑cultural awareness and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
  • Willingness to undertake occasional international travel, including at short notice.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
