Job summary

DiDi Autonomous Driving seeks a Staff or Principal AI Transformation Engineer to lead the company's AI-native transformation, combining extensive LLM expertise with advanced systems architecture and enterprise-scale deployment.

You will embed with the core autonomous driving teams and drive the evolution of our AI infrastructure, DevOps, and Copilot-style tooling to scale across the organization.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to design complex, system-level architectures while writing core code and optimizing execution paths.
• Experience leading AI-native transformations and building enterprise-grade AI/ML platforms.
• Hands-on deployment, tuning, and optimization of mainstream AI infra tools.

Responsibilities

• Architect AI infrastructure and platform design, integrating frontier LLM ecosystems and AI platforms.
• Embed with core autonomous driving teams to translate AI capabilities into production-ready ecosystems.
• Design scalable LLM deployment and MLOps pipelines, optimize GPU utilization and latency.
• Set a technical roadmap to maintain a 1–3 year competitive edge in AI infrastructure.
