Job summary

Coupang is seeking a Staff AI Security Governance Engineer to join our AI GRC team. The role bridges AI regulatory requirements and technical security architecture, defining Coupang's enterprise AI risk framework and translating mandates into policy-as-code.

You will collaborate with AI/ML engineers, security architects, Legal, and Privacy to set standards and ensure seamless execution with the Control Assurance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/InfoSec/SE or a related field is required.
• 10+ years in Information Security, Technical GRC, Security Architecture, or AI/Cloud Governance.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML security risks and cloud security architecture (AWS).
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Define and architect Coupang's enterprise AI risk framework and policy-as-code.
• Partner with AI/ML, security, Legal and Privacy teams to set standards.
• Collaborate with Control Assurance to ensure governance execution and monitoring.
• Embed governance requirements into AI architectures, CI/CD, and runtimes.
