Rithum is a remote-first tech company redefining AI-infused commerce security. The Staff Information Security Engineer role sits at the intersection of AI adoption and security, building guardrails, automating controls, and delivering concrete, auditable safety for AI-powered features.

You’ll partner with Platform Engineering and IT, automate security pipelines, and model threats for AI agents and LLMs. The position offers strong compensation in the US, comprehensive benefits, and generous time

Competenze

• 5+ years of security engineering with AI/ML security depth (prompt injection, model supply chain, adversarial inputs, RAG).
• Experience using AI tools and LLM frameworks to accelerate work (ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude; OpenAI, LangChain).
• Hands-on identity and access across cloud identity stacks, including AI/non-human identities.
• Infrastructure and policy-as-code (Terraform/OPA/Rego); scripting in Python for automation.
• Cloud security expertise (AWS) with multi-account governance and guardrails.
• App security experience incl. OWASP Top10 and LLM/GenAI Top10; integrating SIEM, CSPM, SAST/DAST/SCA.
• Familiarity with SOC2 and ISO27001 control frameworks.

• Bridge architectural intent and operations; mediate security requirements and feasible implementation.
• Implement preventive, default-on security controls across cloud and enterprise environments as code.
• Enforce identity and access controls for AI systems and non-human identities.
• Maintain the InfoSec risk register and translate threats into actionable guidance for engineering.
• Support third-party risk assessments focusing on data through AI pipelines.
• Automate security workflows and build AI-assisted security agents with human-in-the-loop gates.
• Integrate tooling (SIEM, CSPM, SAST/DAST/SCA) with LLM layers for automated responses.
• Define security requirements for AI-powered features: access controls, prompt-injection mitigations, data handling.
