Job summary

WRITER is seeking a Staff Detection and Response Engineer to protect our AI infrastructure and platform. You will build sophisticated detections and automated responses for evolving AI threats across GPU clusters and distributed training environments.

Collaborate with AI security researchers, Cloud Infrastructure, and Software Security to implement defense-in-depth and proactive threat hunting, while maintaining 24/7 on-call coverage for critical incidents.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in security operations, detection engineering, or incident response across production environments.
• Strong programming skills to build custom detection logic and automate responses in cloud-native, distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI-specific threat detection strategies for prompt injection, model extraction, data poisoning, and unauthorized access to training data or model weights across distributed infrastructure.
