Stord is revolutionizing the logistics space by building a TS-based AI platform. We seek a Staff Software Engineer to lead architectural decisions, drive technical strategy, and accelerate the growth of our AI capabilities across the product suite.

You will work hands-on with Cloudflare Workers and edge components, mentor engineers, and partner with product teams to deliver scalable, reliable AI features that enhance consumer experiences at scale.

Qualifications

• TypeScript (production) experience and ownership of a large TS codebase.
• Experience building agentic/LLM-powered features in production.
• Knowledge of edge computing and distributed systems for scale.

Responsabilités

• Own the AI platform architecture and technical vision; communicate rationale to stakeholders.
• Drive strategy with product and engineering leaders; translate goals into actionable plans.
• Evaluate build-vs-buy decisions and new tech with a production-first mindset.
• Establish and enforce quality standards via reviews and architectural guidance.
• Mentor engineers and create leverage through reusable abstractions and tooling.
• Collaborate with product, data scientists, and backend teams to integrate AI capabilities.
