Job summary

Seeq, a remote-first analytics software company, is seeking an AI Software Engineer to own backend platforms and agentic AI systems at scale. You will define architecture, lead cross-team AI initiatives, and build reusable platform capabilities that empower multiple teams to deploy AI features safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, including staff-level scope.
• Significant recent focus on generative AI or agentic systems.
• Proven track record leading complex AI/platform initiatives from concept to production.
• Experience building and operating agentic systems and related infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Set technical direction for backend and AI platform capabilities.
• Lead high-impact AI and platform initiatives from concept to production.
• Architect agentic systems including routing, orchestration, tool use, evaluations, runtimes, sandboxing, and inter-agent communication.
• Build and evolve shared platform infrastructure and APIs for AI-enabled applications.
• Ensure reliable distributed data-intensive systems and maintain observability for AI workloads.
• Collaborate with product managers to shape the vision for generative AI in analytics engineering.
• Mentor and grow engineers across backend architecture and platform engineering.
