Payroll Integrations Inc. is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to lead AI-native development. This fully remote role in the US involves defining standards, building a reusable toolchain, and delivering production software across teams.

You will own architecture, guardrails, tests, and reviews for agent-based code and AI workflows. You bring 10+ years of production software experience, strong TypeScript/Node.js skills, and deep AI knowledge.

Qualificações

• Ten or more years building production software.
• Experience at staff or principal level in engineering.
• Deep TypeScript or Node.js experience on a cloud platform.

Responsabilidades

• Set standards for AI-native software development and reviews.
• Design and maintain the toolchain for agentic delivery.
• Ship features across teams using the defined workflow.
• Ensure architecture boundaries and tests cover real risks.
• Instrument and report cycle time, defects, and cost.
• Shape data governance for AI models and code reviews.
• Coach engineers and product managers on effective AI use.
