Cricut is seeking a Staff AI-Native Software Engineer to architect cross-platform desktop and mobile apps for AI-assisted design creation and cloud-saved projects. You will enable rock-solid connectivity via Bluetooth, USB, and Wi‑Fi, and integrate AI throughout product experience and the engineering org.

Qualifications

• 8+ years shipping production software across client apps, backend services, and device integration.
• Hands-on experience with AI engineering tools and integrating AI/LLM capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end architecture across app, cloud, and device layers with reliable connectivity.
• Own planning, estimation, and delivery accountability with attention to security and performance.
• Govern architecture through ADRs, reviews, and traceability to ADRs.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, QA, and security.
• Ensure safe shipping with feature flags, telemetry, and controlled rollouts.
