Job summary

Sentry is seeking a Staff Machine Learning Engineer to advance our AI/ML efforts, shaping models and agents that improve triage, resolution, and predictive analytics across the product. You will help integrate AI into core products and work with data from errors, spans, and profiles at scale.

You will lead foundational AI initiatives, write production-grade Python, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive impact and deliver faster insights for customers worldwide.

Qualifications

• 4+ years with MS/PhD in CS/ML or related field.
• 6+ years with BS in CS/ML or related field.
• Expertise building production-grade agentic AI systems and tools.
• Proficient in Python and PyTorch for production code.
• Experience documenting, mentoring, and presenting to technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Build state-of-the-art agentic AI systems to triage, debug, and solve production issues.
• Leverage Sentry's dataset of errors, spans, and profiles to improve models.
• Own major AI/ML initiatives and collaborate with engineers and product teams.
