Job summary
Equinix is seeking an experienced software engineer to design systems and applications, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with product teams. Qualifications
- 5+ years experience
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
Responsibilities
- Requirements Analysis: Understand, read, and review requirements
- Software Architecture: Participate in architectural review process
- Software Design: Lead features and multiple modules design; provide technical leadership
- Development/Coding: Develop scripts and code for a feature and multiple modules; perform peer reviews
- Testing: Develop unit tests; propose testing frameworks
- DevOps: Define deployment and release guidelines; plan environments and dependencies
- Software Reliability & Support Engineering: Document and maintain production inventories; assist with support documentation
- Technical Project Management: Provide LOE; define schedules; report progress
- R&D/Innovation: Investigate and evaluate new technologies
