Capital One is seeking a Staff AI Engineer who will help build responsible and scalable AI systems used across financial products. You will collaborate with engineers, researchers, PMs, and managers to deliver AI-powered features and platforms that impact millions of customers.

You will work on foundation models, inference, agents, vector databases, and observability, leveraging tools like PyTorch, Huggingface, and AWS services.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree with 6+ years of AI/ML development experience.
• 8+ years programming in Python/Go/Scala/CUDA/Java.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered products.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support AI software components.
• Leverage OSS and SaaS AI tech like AWS Ultraclusters, Huggingface, PyTorch.
• Optimize foundation model training, inference, and governance for production.
• Contribute to the architectural vision and long-term AI roadmap.
• Set enterprise AI standards for tooling, observability, and deployment.
• Design model routing, caching, and orchestration for multi-model workloads.
• Champion responsible AI principles across system design and transparency.
