Motion Recruitment is seeking a Staff AI Engineer for a 100% remote opportunity in the United States. You will own end-to-end experiment loops, build AI-native platform components, and drive rapid learning cycles within a high-velocity team.

You will operate autonomously, shaping the future of AI-assisted software development while collaborating across teams to ensure robust design, scalable infrastructure, and effective debugging practices.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as a staff-level engineer with deep experience in software architecture and product development workflows.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding agents integrated into daily development and debugging processes.
• Strong system design instincts with a pragmatic approach in ambiguous environments.
• Experience with modern engineering workflows including CI/CD, PRs, debugging, alerting, and deployment strategies.

Responsibilities

• Own full experiment loops from hypothesis to shipped product.
• Develop and maintain AI-native platform components and agent infrastructure.
• Lead code reviews, refactoring, and maintain AI dev loop quality.
• Collaborate across teams and document technical plans.
