Job summary

Roboflow, Inc. is seeking a Member of Technical Staff for the Frontier Data team.

You’ll build the environments, evaluations, and datasets that expand frontier model capabilities, writing platform code to run hundreds of thousands of tasks at scale and collaborating with researchers and engineers on edge-of-field projects. You’ll shape dataset development and reward signals, contribute to open source, and work with labs to advance capabilities that drive value for customers.

Qualifications

• Practical experience with agents, evaluations, or RL workflows.
• Strong technical background and written communication.
• Nice to have: experience with computer vision or multimodal models, or prior work with an AI lab as a data or evaluation partner

Responsibilities

• Design and build RL environments, evaluations, and datasets that target high-value gaps in frontier model capability
• Develop internal platforms and supporting infrastructure to run hundreds of thousands of tasks at scale, with throughput, reproducibility, and observability
• Collaborate directly with researchers and engineers to scope and shape dataset development against model roadmaps
• Make quality measurable — build grading harnesses, metrics, and automated checks
• Prototype fast, then harden what works into production systems others can run without you
• Contribute back to open source projects where it accelerates the broader community
