Roboflow, Inc. is seeking a Member of Technical Staff for the Frontier Data team to design RL environments, evaluations, and datasets that close high-value gaps in frontier model capability. You’ll write platform code that runs hundreds of thousands of tasks at scale and collaborate with researchers and engineers across AI labs.

This is a highly autonomous role spanning systems engineering, ML tooling, and research partnerships, with production hardening and open-source contributions encouraged.

Qualifications

• Practical experience with agents, evaluations, or RL workflows.
• Strong technical background and written communication.
• Nice to have: experience with computer vision or multimodal models, or prior work with an AI lab as a data or evaluation partner.

Responsibilities

• Design and build RL environments, evaluations, and datasets that target high-value gaps in frontier model capability.
• Develop internal platforms and supporting infrastructure to run hundreds of thousands of tasks at scale, with throughput, reproducibility, and observability.
• Collaborate directly with researchers and engineers at leading AI labs to scope and shape dataset development against model roadmaps.
• Make quality measurable — build the grading harnesses, metrics, and automated checks that verify environments or datasets are good.
• Prototype fast, then harden what works into production systems others can run without you.
• Contribute back to open source projects where it accelerates the broader community.
