Job summary

NTT DATA AIVista in Palo Alto, CA is seeking a hands-on AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy enterprise AI capabilities, including agentic infrastructure and model customization. You will collaborate with experienced teams to build scalable AI solutions and deliver production-grade software across production systems.

The role requires a CS/AI background with 3+ years in software engineering, and familiarity with agentic architectures, RAG, LLMs, and AI pipelines.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, AI/ML, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of software engineering experience with AI-powered products or production AI systems.
• Experience delivering production-quality software.
• Hands-on experience with AI technologies and architectures: agentic systems, RAG, LLMs, AI infra, data pipelines, multi-agent.
• Ability to balance performance, scalability, reliability, and cost.
• Curiosity and ability to learn quickly as AI tech evolves.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI capabilities, including agentic infrastructure, model customization, and agentic workflows for major enterprise clients.
• Collaborate with engineering and science teams to build scalable AI capabilities and deliver enterprise solutions.
• Write production-quality software and own components from implementation through deployment and ongoing improvement.
