Job summary

7-Eleven is seeking a Staff Engineer - Agents to join its Enterprise AI Team in Irving, TX. You will lead design, development, and deployment of agentic AI systems and LLM-powered features across platforms, guiding cross-functional teams and delivering scalable solutions.

Qualifications

6+ years in a technical AI role, with 2–3 years in a senior AI position.
4+ years building AI models from research to production using ML frameworks.
2+ years building LLM-based chat/agent systems for large-scale users.
2+ years of leading a team and performing architecture/code reviews.
Experience with AWS/GCP/Azure and scaling AI systems.
BS or higher in CS/Engineering/Math; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead design, development, and deployment of advanced agentic AI systems and algorithms.
Architect and deploy AI models across traditional and agentic solutions.
Build robust AI pipelines: data extraction, feature development, model training, testing, and deployment.
Mentor engineers, review architectures, and ensure production reliability.
Collaborate across Data Eng, Product, and Platform teams and stay current with new tech.
