Job summary

Lyra Health is seeking an exceptional Staff Software Engineer to accelerate internal efficiency. You will embed with teams to identify AI-driven improvements, own end-to-end delivery, and ship AI-powered tools integrated with Python/Java microservices.

You will lead with outcomes, promoting adoption and measurable gains while upholding top security standards. The role supports hybrid work from our South San Francisco HQ or remote within the United States, with a strong emphasis on impactful,

Qualifications

8+ years building enterprise or consumer web apps, ideally in Python or Java/Spring.
Hands-on experience with LLMs in production: agentic tools, prompts, evals, workflows.
Experience translating business problems into shipped software & driving adoption.

Responsibilities

Embed with internal teams to map workflows and scope AI-driven solutions.
Own full lifecycle from discovery to deployment, adoption and iteration.
Build AI tools and integrations across microservices, apps, and third parties.
Drive agentic software development and measure adoption and efficiency gains.
Evaluate AI tools and run experiments; turn winners into durable capabilities.
Define metrics to prove impact and communicate results to leadership.
Collaborate with data science, product management, design, security, and ops.
Follow best practices for quality and security, handling sensitive data responsibly.
