Job summary

Lyra Health, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to accelerate internal efficiency by embedding AI into workflows across engineering, operations, clinical support, and more.

You will own end-to-end AI-powered solutions, partner with data science, product, design, security, and other teams, and measure impact in time saved, throughput, and quality. This role emphasizes ownership and delivering durable outcomes.

Qualifications

• BS in CS or related technical field required.
• 6+ years of experience developing enterprise or consumer web applications, ideally using Python or Java/Spring.
• Hands-on experience building with LLMs in production: agentic tools, prompt engineering, evals.
• Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into shipped software and drive adoption.

Responsibilities

• Embed with internal teams to map workflows and scope AI-driven solutions with measurable outcomes.
• Own full lifecycle from discovery to deployment, adoption, measurement, and iteration.
• Build and improve AI-powered tools and integrations with Python/Java microservices, apps, and third-party systems.
• Drive adoption of agentic software development across engineering and elevate technical capabilities.
• Evaluate emerging AI tools and turn winners into durable internal capabilities.
• Define and track metrics to prove impact and communicate results to leadership.
• Collaborate with data science, product, design, security, and operations teams.
• Follow best practices for software development and responsible handling of data in AI workflows.
