Job summary

Kranz Consulting is seeking a Staff Accountant to manage accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and month-end close in a fast-paced environment in San Francisco. The role includes bill processing, vendor communication, and assisting with audits and taxes.

The ideal candidate has Netsuite experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and excellent communication and Excel skills. This is a full-time position with temporary-to-hire potential, based in San Francisco.

Responsibilities

• Own AP day-to-day operations including entering bills, matching with POs, backups in Netsuite, and accurate coding.
• Obtain timely bill approvals through follow-ups with department heads.
• Review AP aging and approve payment disbursements.
• Process monthly payment runs (ACH, wire).
• Maintain vendor documents on Box and NetSuite; handle vendor communications.
• File 1099s annually.
• Assist credit card reporting, employee expenses review.
• Assist bank/credit card reconciliations.
• Assist month-end close with GL reconciliations.
• Assist jurisdiction registrations.
• Assist annual audit and tax filing.
• Work on Ad Hoc projects.

Job Description:

1. Own AP day-to-day operations:

Entering bills, matching with PO’s, attaching backups to Netsuite and ensuring coding accuracy

Obtaining timely bill approvals through frequent follow ups with department heads

Reviewing AP aging for payment schedules and approvals of payment disbursements

Processing monthly payment runs - ACH, wire.

Maintaining and filing required vendor documents on Box and NetSuite

Handling vendor correspondence via email and phone

Annual 1099 filing

2. Assist credit card reporting and employee expenses review

3. Assist bank/credit card reconciliations

4. Assist month end close with GL reconciliations

5. Assist jurisdictions registrations

7. Ad Hoc projects

Qualifications :

BS degree in accounting or related fields

3+ years related working experience

Netsuite experience is a must

Expensify experience is preferred

Understanding in GAAP
