Job summary

Babich & Assoc. in Texas is seeking an accounting professional to join an established firm with over 50 years in business. You will handle heavy reconciliations of bank accounts and GL accounts, plus posting month-end journals and ad hoc reports.

Responsibilities include auditing daily sales from remote branches, updating Excel schedules, and backing up AP as needed. A fast-paced, casual environment requires 2+ years in accounting and proficiency with ERP systems like Sage, SAP, Oracle, or Yardi.

Qualifications

• 2 or more years' experience in an accounting environment.
• Able to work in a fast paced, casual setting.
• Experience in ERP software like Sage, SAP, Oracle, Yardi.
• Knowledge of Excel such as pivot tables, v-lookups.

Responsibilities

• Heavy reconciliations of bank accounts, credit card receivables and other GL accounts.
• Preparing and posting of recurring, one-time and other month end journal entries.
• Audit and balancing of daily sales reports from remote branch locations.
• Updating various excel schedules and ad hoc reporting as needed.
• Backing up AP dept as needed and other duties as assigned.
