Job summary

Human Appeal is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to manage bank, cash, and balance sheet reconciliations in Irving, TX. You will independently prepare monthly bank reconciliations, reconcile receipts to deposits and the GL, and resolve reconciling items to ensure accurate close.

In addition, you will handle general ledger rollforwards, post routine journal entries, support month-end close timelines, and participate in system improvements using Dynamics 365 Business Central.

• Ability to work independently in a deadline-driven month-end close environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly bank reconciliations for operating and other cash accounts.
• Reconcile cash receipts to bank deposits and GL.
• Investigate reconciling items and document findings.
• Maintain reconciliations that are fully supported and timely.
• Manage general ledger balance sheet reconciliations and rollforwards.
• Post journal entries related to cash, accruals, deferrals, and corrections.
• Support month-end close tasks and improve close processes.
• Assist with audits and provide documentation.
