You will work with property management and leasing teams, support monthly closes, reconciliations, and reporting for multiple entities in a fast-paced, in-person environment.

Qualifications

• Solid general accounting fundamentals and ability to handle reconciliations and recurring close work with minimal oversight.
• Previous public accounting experience is a strong plus.
• Real estate or CAM reconciliation experience is a plus, not a requirement.
• Eager to take on a variety of work rather than specialize narrowly.
• A collaborative, solutions-first attitude.
• Wants to be part of an in-person, fast-paced, high-energy team — this isn't a fit for a fixed remote-work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Support the monthly close process across a portfolio of properties and operating companies — prepare reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules.
• Assist with consolidating property-level and company-level financials into accurate reporting.
• Partner with leasing and property management teams on tenant receivables and payables, resolving discrepancies.
• Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance as needed.
• Support debt payment postings and other recurring accounting processes with the finance team.
• Take on ad hoc accounting projects and analysis as priorities shift.
• Hold a disciplined close timeline, meeting deadlines or proactively communicating when something will slip.
