GH is seeking a motivated Audit & Accounting Staff Accountant to join our Assurance & Accounting Department. With two to five years of public accounting experience, you will engage in audit, review, compilation, and consulting engagements while working closely with firm leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Two to five years of public accounting experience.
• Active pursuit of CPA licensure with progress toward certification.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in audit, review, and compilation engagements
• Perform audit procedures, substantive testing, and analytical reviews
• Prepare audit work-papers and supporting documentation
• Prepare financial statements and related disclosures
• Analyze financial information and identify accounting and reporting issues
• Prepare account reconciliations and adjusting journal entries
• Assist clients with accounting and financial reporting matters
• Communicate effectively with clients, managers, and partners
• Maintain compliance with professional standards and firm policies
• Manage multiple assignments and engagement deadlines
• Participate in continuing professional education and professional development activities
