The Meyer Lab is seeking a Staff Accountant to maintain financial records, ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, reconcile accounts, and assist the assistant controller with timely financial reporting including P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet. You will enter data, manage reconciliations, fixed assets, tax accounts, month-end close, invoicing, and support budget maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.
• Minimum of one year of accounting experience.
• Solid knowledge of budgeting, financial closure, reporting.
• Strong analytical abilities to drive financial discussions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsabilités

• Enter accounting information into financial ledgers and logs.
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage fixed assets and depreciation.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports (P&L, cash flow, balance sheet).
• Prepare tax information for filing with external tax accounting firm.
• Process invoices and cash reconciliations.
• Close month-end processes.
• Maintain petty cash.
• Support cross-functional finance tasks.
